Shipping Process
Our process is simple: (1) Create an account and get your personal U.S. warehouse address. (2) Shop online using your KZJ address. (3) Upload invoices to our dashboard. (4) We consolidate your packages and arrange weekly shipments to Barbados. (5) You receive a quote and invoice. (6) Pay and track your package until it arrives at your door.
We consolidate and ship every Friday. The cut-off time for package processing is Thursday at 4:00 PM local time. Any invoices uploaded after the cut-off will be included in the following week's shipment. You can see the countdown to the next cut-off on your dashboard.
Once your shipment is processed, you can track it in real-time from your personal dashboard. You'll see the status of each invoice and shipment, including estimated delivery dates and tracking numbers. We notify you at every step of the journey—from warehouse to your door.
Pricing & Payment
Shipping cost is based on the weight and dimensions of your package. We use a simple formula: freight charges per pound, plus a handling fee. Once your items arrive at our U.S. warehouse, our team weighs and measures them and provides a detailed invoice before you pay anything.
Yes — customs duties and VAT may apply based on the customs value of your goods and how Barbados Customs classifies them. For eligible low-value personal courier shipments, Barbados may allow duty relief or CPC-style treatment (for example CPC 942 in certain bands), but only Barbados Customs can confirm exemptions. We itemize freight, duties, VAT, and broker-related fees on your quote where applicable. You may prepay duties with us or settle some charges on arrival depending on the option you choose. Nothing on our site overrides Customs' final decision.
You pay after we send you a detailed invoice. For quote-ready shipments, we provide an itemized breakdown including freight, duties, VAT, and any optional charges like home delivery. You can review everything before paying. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
Barbados Customs & Duties
Many estimates use a goods-only FOB value of around BBD $150 or below as a potential de minimis-style band where duty and VAT relief may be considered for qualifying personal shipments — but alcoholic beverages, tobacco, vaping, cannabis-related products, and similar categories are typically excluded. Barbados Customs always makes the final decision.
In some courier, personal-use shipments with FOB between roughly BBD $150.01 and $199.99, Barbados may apply CPC 942: duty relief may apply while VAT can still be assessed on the customs base (often discussed as CIF in clearance). Our quotes surface this as an illustrative scenario only — not a guarantee.
FOB (for our explainers) is the value of the merchandise alone — what you paid for the goods, not shipping or insurance you bought to move them. CIF adds applicable freight and insurance into the customs base used for estimates. Your invoice quote breaks these out so you can see how duties and VAT were modeled.
Examples commonly excluded from automated exemption modeling include alcoholic beverages, cannabis products, vaping products, cigars, cigarettes, and manufactured tobacco. If those keywords appear on retailer invoices, our AI assistant flags them and our estimator defaults to normal duty and VAT charges.
No. Customs charges and exemptions are subject to Barbados Customs assessment and final classification. We provide transparency and compliant estimates, but authorities may revalue shipments, change tariff headings, or deny preferences.
Restricted Items
Items such as hazardous materials, firearms, live animals, and certain food products are restricted. This includes explosives, flammable materials, illegal drugs, perishable foods, lithium batteries (loose or damaged), pressurized containers, and large appliances. When in doubt, contact us before purchasing.
No. Firearms, ammunition, and any weapon-related items are strictly prohibited and cannot be shipped to Barbados. This applies to all types of weapons, including sporting equipment classified as weapons in Barbados.
Fresh food, perishables, and certain packaged foods are restricted due to customs regulations and spoilage risks. Shelf-stable items like canned goods may be permitted in limited quantities, but contact us first. We do not accept any items that could spoil during transit.
